Beautiful draped and ruched sheer chiffon gown from 1938. Original silk charmeuse slip has since shredded but included delicate spaghetti straps, squared neckline and art deco skirt lines.

As with many gowns from this era, the silk slip was of sufficient quality it could be worn alone as a gown. Possibly affording two looks in one outfit !
